More than making you discover the French riviera coast, Southbase wants to make you love it and make you want to protect and preserve it as much as possible. For this, Southbase undertakes to organize regular waste collections on the many beaches of the coast, in which you can participate voluntarily.
For ease and efficiency, we trust Initatives Oceanes which allows to organize or participate in waste collections across Europe for 24 years.

"Each year, 8 million tonnes of plastic waste ends up in the ocean. 100% of this waste is of human origin. Because we are all responsible, but also all actors of the solution, Surfrider Foundation Europe created more than 20 years ago, the Ocean Initiatives. Deployed throughout Europe, in cities as well as on the coast, this program aims to raise citizens' awareness of the issue of aquatic waste, by organizing waste collections. "
"There are two ways to get involved. Whatever the time that citizens want to give and have to protect the ocean: organize an Ocean Initiative with the support and accompaniment of Surfrider Europe or participate in an Ocean Initiative organized near them. "
