ABOUT...

Nice regorge d’endroits exceptionnels.

The Promenade des Anglais is one of them. It is a magnificent bay with particularly blue water which offers us an incredible show of colors all year round. It reveals no less than 3.8 km of pebble beach, public and private. There is a lot of entertainment around, with many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, but also nautical activities with the famous parasailing, or Beach Volleyball courts. At night in high season, the Promenade des Anglais becomes a meeting place for young people who come for a drink or a midnight swim.

COMMENT S'Y RENDRE

If you come from the West of Nice (Saint Raphael, Cannes, Antibes…) the easiest way is to take the motorway to Nice, and exit at the Airport. Here you can immediately arrive on the Promenade des Anglais. If you come from the other side (Menton, Monaco, Eze ...), you can also take the A8 motorway and exit at Nice Est, or take the medium or low cornice. You will then arrive at the port of Nice, you just have to go around the castle hill to see the Promenade des Anglais.

The easiest way is to come by public transport. Nice train station is a 15-minute walk from the beach, and there are a whole series of buses running on the Promenade des Anglais (n ° 8, n ° 9, n ° 200, n ° 400, n ° 59, No. 70). If you take the tram you can also get off at the Opéra vielle-ville, or Cathédrale vielle-ville stations on line 1, which are 5-10 minutes from the beach.

NEARBY BEACHES

On the other side of the port of Nice is the reserve, coves and small pebble beaches to avoid the tourist crowds on the Promenade des Anglais.

Further on, in Villefranche-sur-mer, you will find the beach of marinières, sand, turquoise waters and walls of fuchsia bougainvillea.

Finally, just after the marinières beach is the beach of the Guardian Angel, a little less crowded than its neighbor.
